How Interior Decorating Works

A full house repaint begins with thorough preparation. Furniture is carefully moved or protected, floors are covered, and all surfaces are cleaned and inspected for any cracks or imperfections. Minor repairs are carried out, including filling holes, sealing gaps, and sanding areas to create a smooth, consistent base.

Once preparation is complete, work typically starts with the ceilings, followed by the walls and then the woodwork, including skirting boards, doors and frames. Each coat is applied evenly, with sufficient drying time allowed to ensure a high-quality, durable finish.

After the final coat has been applied, all areas are checked in detail to ensure a consistent result. Masking is removed, surfaces are cleaned, and the property is left tidy, presentable, and ready to be enjoyed.

Due to our wide range of contacts with various different trades, we can establish exactly what our customer requires and can source other trades in order to complete the job if required.
